I've had my Bromwell's 5-cup crank sifter (mine's tin) for at least 35 years and it still works great. Had it been available in stainless steel back then I'd probably have opted for it but I guess it didn't matter. Please, Jacob Bromwell, stay in business forever.

The crank sifter is the best thing ever if you're like me and you cook a lot. It seems like all you ever find these days are sifters with a squeeze handle and they're hard on the hands. I bought a tin and a stainless one but like the stainless one better - seems a bit more durable.
