St. Joseph Flat Shredders

STILL JUST AS HANDY AFTER ALMOST 200 YEARS
We've received letters from customers all over the country asking where they can find cheese graters like the ones Mom had: you know, the ones she's had for 40 years and are still sharp. Well, here they are and they're still made by the folks at Bromwell! A great way to prepare meals by shredding and slicing food the old fashioned way, these flat shredders are sure to win you, ma and pa over. During Mr. Bromwell's time, a shredder wasn’t quite a household word. But today, he'd be proud to know his idea became popular among American families just like yours.

  • Our St. Joseph Flat Shredders have stood the test of time. You can proudly pass it down through the generations, from your special children to theirs, and so on.
  • Dimensions: 5 x 1 x 14 (in inches)
  • Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, some imperfections may occur and are a natural part of the hand-made process.
  • Still Made in the USA

WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY:

Al
I will be back! My mother has one of these in Tin, all these years later it is black from superficial rust and still as sharp as ever!

I am interested in purchasing one and one; one Tin and one Steel, and I will be sure to tell the customer service rep. why I think that will be a smart, new way to sell them when I call.

Good materials, bad design. The short length of each pattern within the shredder means you only get to use that section for an inch or so, then bring the cheese back up and shred it for another inch. Top-to-bottom works so much better - choose one of their other shredders.

get the stainless steel ones! the tin ones rusted after i put them in the dishwasher.

Troy
i ordered these and the wonder shredders and they're both nice.

I cook every meal at home from scratch and have been using these exact same shredders since the 1980s. I cannot believe I just found these and that you are still making them, even after all these years!!! WOW!
