Many companies make perfectly good flour sifters. We make the best.
In 1819, Jacob Bromwell® invented the world's first flour sifter, which eventually became patented in 1930 (Patent No. 1753995). Today, we're still making them in the original style. A must-have for every American kitchen, our popular 3-cup flour sifters feature a single screen as well as our proprietary 4-wire agitator. As the world's oldest flour sifters, they are guaranteed to produce the finest, smoothest flour possible for perfect cakes, cookies and more. So bring back memories and create new ones by sifting flour the old-fashioned way, and you'll soon be part of the Jacob Bromwell® tradition.

Interesting Facts about your product

MADE SINCE 1819, BELOW YOU WILL FIND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR LEGENDARY FLOUR SIFTER (3-CUP)

A Jacob Bromwell® product is an investment for life. Only Bromwell manufactures these quality old-fashioned flour sifters! Many other flour sifters imitate the original Bromwell design. None are made as well, and none have the history to back them up.

Our most famous and instantly recognizable product. Undoubtedly, the Legendary Flour Sifter is our most famous and instantly recognizable product, which can be found in millions of American households.

We are now offering this product in stainless steel. As a premium material, stainless steel has a shinier finish than tin, is a bit heavier, and is rust-resistant.
Product care: Hand wash only. Do not place in dishwasher.

It's still made the good old fashioned way. The handle is attached to the sifter using old-fashioned metalworking techniques, just like the sifters made by our company nearly 200 years ago.

Our secret is the uniquely-designed 4-wire agitator. Each wire smoothly sweeps the screen below it, creating the smoothest flour possible for a consistent measure every time.

It's easy to use. Just pour in your desired amount of wheat, acorn, almond, chestnut, maize or rough whole grain flour, turn the handle and fill your mixing bowl. You can also fill the sifter with powdered sugar for a dust on top of a cake, pie, or whatever else you're cooking.

It holds 3 cups of flour. It features a stainless steel body, stainless steel mesh screen, and our uniquely-designed 4-wire stainless steel agitator.

Minor cosmetic imperfections may occur. Small imperfections are a natural part of the handmade process and lend charm, depth, and individuality to each piece.

This product is guaranteed for life. Your purchase is backed by our 100% Lifetime Guarantee, so you can buy with confidence.
